Sour Ale Granita

Sour Ale Granita 


1 can Town Brewery Salad Bar Suplex Sour 

1/4 cup Villa Vida Loca Honey 

1 tsp lime zest 


● Whisk together beer, honey and lime zest in a large baking dish (mixture should not come any higher than 1 inch up the side of the dish) and set, uncovered, in the freezer for 45 minutes, or until the edges are frozen and the center is slushy. Use a fork to gently scrape the frozen edges into the center, then place back in the freezer for an additional 45 minutes. Repeat this process 4 times, or until granita is completely frozen and ice crystals are all separate. Serve immediately on top of vanilla ice cream, freshly shucked oysters or simply on its own with crushed blackberries.
